My paintings are all made using the highest quality materials I can find— small works are often painted on Canson Arches Huile paper (a specially prepared, archival oil paper), mounted to a pH neutral hardboard panel using Beva glue (a heat-reversible glue used by conservators). Larger paintings are mounted the same way, but using Claessen’s Belgian linen, one of the higher quality painting surfaces currently available.

Please allow up to a week for paintings to ship. I’m a small operation running out of my rural New England studio, so to maximize efficiency I group the final mounting, framing, and packing for all orders on the same day of the week. When your order comes in, I’ll give you a heads up as to when to expect it to ship. Shipping times within the continental US are usually under a week, and significantly less (usually around 2 days) for destinations within the Northeast.

It can be really rewarding to work with a client on bringing an idea to life! I work from life, so commissions requiring the use of a photograph provided by the client usually aren’t projects I’m able to take on. My availability is very dependent on my project schedule and the type of project being proposed, so it’s often not the right fit at the right time, but don’t hesitate to be in touch if you have an idea you want to run by me!
